Michelle A. Malone
Michelle A. Malone is a partner at the firm and concentrates her practice in the area of family law. Before joining Cacace, Tusch & Santagata, she served as an assistant district attorney with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn. There, she prosecuted complex white collar crimes by conducting all aspects of investigations, indictment and trial proceedings for felony cases. A graduate of Quinnipiac University, she holds joint degrees in law and business administration. She is credentialed through the state of Connecticut to serve as a Guardian ad Litem and as an attorney for minor children in the state’s court system.

Michelle A. Malone joined the firm in 2011 as an associate and was named a partner in January 2016. Ms. Malone concentrates her practice in the area of family law. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York State Courts. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Malone practiced family law in Fairfield County and more recently served as an assistant district attorney within the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York. During her three years as an assistant district attorney, she prosecuted complex white collar crimes by conducting all aspects of investigations, indictment and trial proceedings for felony cases involving money laundering, investment fraud, forgery, identity theft and mortgage fraud.
Ms. Malone received her joint Juris Doctorate (cum laude) and Masters in Business Administration in 2005 from Quinnipiac University School of Law and School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with academic concentrations in finance and economics from Babson College. While at law school she was a recipient of a Distinguished Academic Achievement Award (2003) and was a member of the Probate Law Journal. Her article: “Repairing Errors. Case Comment: In Re Estate of Herceg” was published in the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal: Volume 18; Number 3-4 (2005).
Ms. Malone has completed all State of Connecticut mandatory requirements for the Guardian ad Litem/Attorney for the Minor Child Comprehensive Basic Training. She is a member of the Connecticut and Fairfield County Bar Associations.
